Quiet area, central location so close to Del Monte shopping mall which has an excellent food store and very good restaurants, cinema and good dining options and a popular tourist area. For tea or coffee visit Parker-Lusseau Pastries nearby.

Breakfast fairly basic.

We arrived late, after 11:00pm and the Manager was there to serve us. The Manager explained to us that we were upgraded to a suite without additional charge. The beds are comfortable and the room is clean and quiet. We only had interactions with the Manager and he was professional at all times. For the Monterey/Carmel area, this hotel is well priced and you get value for your money.

The water pressure in the shower could be stronger. If you have a thick head of hair that is also long, it can be difficult and takes time to completely clean off the shampoo. However, I am guessing that there are bylaws about water conservation that have to be followed.

The two-bedroom King suite was quite modern and spacious, the beds were comfortable. We had a strong single the night before, only barely visible to our computers and phones that morning.

It was pricey but still tolerable.
